Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms apply when you use TicketPlugJA, whether you browse events, buy or receive tickets, or scan tickets at an event. By using the site you agree to them. Organizers who sell tickets also agree to our Organizer Agreement.
1. Who we are
TicketPlugJA is a ticketing platform operated by Neon Goat Studios in Jamaica ("TicketPlugJA", "we", "us"). We sell tickets on behalf of event organizers. We are not the organizer of the events listed, unless we say so on the event page.
2. The organizer runs the event
Each event is organized by the organizer named on its page. The organizer is responsible for the event itself: the date, venue, line-up, age limits, entry rules, safety, and any change or cancellation. Questions about the event should go to the organizer; we'll help you reach them if needed.
3. Buying tickets
- Prices are shown in the event's currency (usually Jamaican dollars) and include every fee you will pay before you confirm.
- A booking fee is usually added to each ticket, and it's shown before you pay. It includes card processing: there is no separate card charge.
- You type your email address twice so your tickets reach you. Check it carefully: tickets are sent there.
- Tickets are held for a short time while you check out. If time runs out, they are released to other fans.
- Card payments are processed by our payment provider, WiPay. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and we email your tickets. If a payment goes through but the tickets have sold out in the meantime, we refund it in full.
- Organizers may limit how many tickets one person can buy. We may cancel orders that break these limits or these terms.
4. Your ticket
- A ticket is a personal right to enter the event, on the organizer's conditions. It remains subject to these terms and the organizer's entry rules.
- Each ticket has its own QR code, and each code lets one person in once. Copies and screenshots of an already-used code will be refused at the gate.
- Keep your tickets private. Anyone with your ticket email or code could use it before you do. We are not responsible for tickets used by someone you shared them with.
- You can send a ticket to a friend through your account where the organizer allows transfers. The old code stops working as soon as it's sent.
- Reselling tickets for more than their face value, or selling them outside TicketPlugJA, is not allowed unless the organizer says otherwise. Tickets bought for resale may be cancelled without a refund.
- The organizer or venue may refuse entry, or remove you, for safety reasons, age limits, or breaking their rules. Their decisions at the gate are theirs, not ours.
5. Refunds, changes and cancellations
Refunds follow the policy shown on each event page and our Refund Policy. If an event is cancelled, you get back the ticket price and booking fee. If an event is postponed or changed, the organizer decides what options ticket holders have, and we will tell you by email.
6. Accounts
- You don't need an account to buy tickets. If you create one, keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must give accurate details. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy tickets.
- We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse, or to break these terms.
7. Using the site fairly
You agree not to:
- copy, forge or tamper with tickets or QR codes;
- use bots or automated tools to buy tickets, or to scrape the site;
- try to get around purchase limits, security, or email confirmation;
- use stolen cards or payment details;
- interfere with the site, or with other people's use of it.
8. Door scanning
Scanner phones are paired by organizers or our door crew for a specific event. Scan results and entry records are kept to prevent fraud and settle disputes. Nobody may use the scanner app for any other purpose.
9. Our responsibility
- We work hard to keep TicketPlugJA running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- We are not responsible for the event itself, or for loss or injury at the event, which is the organizer's responsibility.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the laws of Jamaica.
10. Your information
How we collect and use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy. When you buy a ticket, the organizer receives the details needed to run the event, such as your name and ticket type.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply to orders made after that date.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please contact us first: most problems are sorted out quickly.
